Hiking in the Swiss National Park: This very well preserved area was a real treat to hike, one of the toughest climbs we’ve done so far. We were also lucky to observe some wildlife including a couple ‘Ibex’ which is a species of wild goat that lives in the mountains.

Favourite activity in Switzerland = hiking. This time we took an hour train (beautiful train ride btw) to the Appenzeller region and hiked to ‘Seealpsee’. Awesome to find such a beautiful place so close to where we are, add in some great weather and it makes a fantastic day.

Took a train up the Alps for some more intensive hiking. Crazy conditions at this altitude but so worth it (top of the Matterhorn is covered by clouds). In the summer, this is a lake with one of the best view’s of the Matterhorn.
